Taylor Metz, Landscape Design & Sales

Taylor’s approach to design is grounded in his love for narratives and the idea that landscapes (or settings) can often play an important role in the stories of our lives.  In that vein, he is interested in how intentionally designed outdoor spaces impact our quality of life.

At Aspen, he readily employs his degrees in Communication Studies, Art Studio, and his master’s degree in Landscape Architecture to work with clients to help identify key objectives for their outdoor landscape and then deliver artistically designed solutions that meet those goals.

With over a dozen years of experience in residential design and build, Taylor strives to provide clients with expertly crafted outdoor living spaces that align with their expressed/felt needs, consider their budget, are aesthetically beautiful, and are responsive to their site’s existing conditions.

Taylor’s mission is to create meaningful places for his clients; places that play a role in the “story” of their memories and experiences for years to come.

When not actively in the Aspen offices, Taylor is working with students as an assistant teaching professor of landscape architecture at Ball State University. He currently resides in historic Pendleton, Indiana with his wife and three children.
