Aspen’s team of talented landscape architects and designers created a custom outdoor living space that fits the homeowners’ needs and the space perfectly. Aspen replaced the previous wooden deck with a new modern structure covered in porcelain tile and sleek cable railing. A new outdoor kitchen now sits under a louvered pergola, creating shade when needed but allowing ample sunlight to shine inside the house when the louvers open. A hot tub was positioned at a lower height for easy access from the main deck while also leading down to the expanded paver patio. Aspen maximized the shallow backyard’s space to accommodate a fire pit gathering area, an in-ground pool, and artificial turf putting green, all bordered by beautiful plantings, natural stone, and stately, elegant retaining walls.

The homeowners and their children enjoy entertaining guests, but also cherish having a place to relax outdoors privately after a long day and enjoy one another’s company. Splitting elements of the overall redesign across multiple phases spread out costs, allowed for slight adjustments and additions as new needs or desires were discovered, and let the homeowners quickly enjoy completed portions of the project while still excitedly anticipating the features still to come.
